Working of a Digital printing press

A digital printing press is not working with the same as traditional press. All process of digital printing press like printing process, setup process and proofing process are different from the all process of traditional press. The working of the digital printing press is depending on the following steps-: 

Process-: Basically a computer is used to run a digital printing press. There is no plates are created before the main printing process. The image passes from computer to the printing press directly. Now printing press separates the films, photographic plates and chemicals. There is only single plate is used for all colors in this digital press. 

Ablation-: The digital printing press uses an ablation technique, which is totally different from the traditional technique. In this technique, the laser removes the layer of image forming from the plate, so the layer can easily accept the ink. Chemicals are not used in this process and this process easily save your time as well. 

Advantages-: The main advantage of the digital printing press is that it is very cost effective technique. It gives you 50 percent benefit in cost as compare to the traditional press. This technique is very quicker and easier for use. It has more quality control process.
